VIDEO: Sevens fans 'Hail Caesar'

Caesar the Fox was introduced as the Delaware 87ers' first mascot Thursday night.

At an unveiling at the Brandywine Zoo, Sevens officials introduced the six-foot grey fox which has a pair of meanings connected to Delaware.

The name Caesar honors Caesar Rodney, Delaware's signer of the Declaration of Independence. The selection of the grey fox as the animal matches the state's official wildlife animal declared in 2010.

Caesar will join the Sevens as they play their second season in the NBA Developmental League this fall at the Bob Carpenter Center.
