Dover police say a traffic stop netted more than 357 grams of pot and landed a Dover resident under arrest.

Police say officers smelled an odor of pot coming from Deon Maestre's car after they pulled him over for a traffic violation on South Bradford Street around 3:20 p.m. Tuesday.

A search of Maestre's car allegedly turned up a backpack with 18 sandwich bags inside, but the bags didn't contain lunch--instead, police say, there was about 357 grams of pot in the bags.

The cops also impounded the car.

Maestre is out on bail, charged with possession with intent to deliver and possession of drug paraphernalia.
