Eagles pick up first preseason victory
By Sean Greene

Nick Foles went 19-29 for 179 yards, a touchdown, and an interception as the Eagles defeated the Steelers 31-21 last night.

The Eagles led 17-0 at halftime on the strength of a Foles to LeSean McCoy 22-yard touchdown pass, a Darren Sproles 1 yard run early in the 2nd quarter, and Alex Henery's 36-yard field goal just before halftime.

The Eagles overall rushed for 182 yards and 3 scores.

Vinny Curry and Brandon Graham had sacks for the Eagles... who face the Jets next Thursday in their final tuneup for the regular season.

McCoy eventually left the game in what was originally declared a sprained thumb. The team will do further tests on Friday.
