Dems want Castle to vote for healthcare bill
By Frank Gerace

Delaware Democrats are calling on Congressman Castle to vote for the healthcare overhaul bill up for consideration in the House Saturday.

State Democratic Party chairman John Daniello says Delawareans have written thousands of letters and made tens of thousands of calls urging the Congressional delegation to vote for the bill.Audio Here

Responding to claims in a Democratic press release that a vote against the House measure amounts to obstruction of healthcare reform and could endanger his 2010 Senate bid, Castle said in a written statement that the delay in passing the bill is the result of a lack of support for it among Democrats, who are the majority party in Congress.
