Expert: Too early to tell DE effect of NJ, VA races

A longtime political observer says it's too early to tell if last Tuesday's Republican Gubernatorial wins in New Jersey and Virginia will mean GOP gains here in 2010.

Rich Heffron with the Delaware State Chamber of Commerce says what happens here next year will largely depend on which candidates run in which races.Audio Here

Heffron says he doesn't expect conservative Republicans to put up a candidate to oppose Congressman Castle's run for the Senate, and if Attorney General Beau Biden runs for his fathers former seat, the Democrats will have a candidate whose name recognition equals Castle's.
