By Associated Press 9:01am, November 5, 2012A new City Hall in Rehoboth Beach is looking smaller and less expensive than initially thought.
The Daily Times of Salisbury reports that cost estimates for the building have decreased from $20 million to $13.5 million.
The new plan calls for a smaller complex, at 36,345-square-feet, that will result in lower renovation and construction costs. The plan emerged from a meeting between architects and City Manager Gregory Ferrese.
All city operations would be located in the new complex.
