Highlights from Delaware's 41-10 loss to Villanova
A disappointing season for the Blue Hens had an ugly ending Saturday as Villanova handed Delaware its fourth straight defeat in a 41-10 loss during the two teams' annual rivalry matchup.

The Wildcats opened the scoring in the 1st Quarter with Nova RB Kevin Monangai picking up 40 yards on one play. It helped set up a 13-yard pass from Quarterback John Robertson to Norman White for the early 7-0 lead.

It doesn't last long though, as the Hens' Michael Johnson returned the ensuing kickoff for 95 yards and the touchdown to tie it at 7-7.

Nova retook the lead in the 2nd Quarter on a 7-yard run for a TD that put the Wildcats up 14-7.

The Hens responded on the next drive on Sean Baner's 30-yard field goal to pull the Hens within four points heading into halftime.

The Hens recovered an onside kick to start the 3rd Quarter but missed an opportunity on the drive after Baner missed a 42-yard field goal that went wide right. The Hens still trailed 14-10.

The Wildcats would extend their lead by three points on the next drive as Mark Hamilton punched it through the uprights for a 28-yard field goal. Nova led 17-10 heading into the 4th. Hamilton would hit a 37-yard field goal in the 4th Quarter to make it 20-10.

Hurley and the Hens tried to respond the Sophmore scrambled for 8-yards twice on the drive to help put Delaware on the Villanova 20 yard line. But was picked off by Ronnie Akins in the endzone to kill the drive.

The Wildcats seized on the opportunity as Robertson would carry the ball into the endzone on an 11-yard run to put Villanova up 27-10.

Hurley would toss two more interceptions on the Hens' next two drives--they were both returned for touchdowns to give Villanova a 41-10 win.

The Hens dropped to 5-6 to close out the season.
