By Amy Cherry 4:02pm, April 19, 2013 - Updated 4:03pm, April 19, 2013Warmer weather is back and so are Delaware's bats.
That means DNREC needs your help spotting them. Bats typically take up residence in your barns, garages, attics, and homes. They feed at night on insects and other pests like mosquitoes.
A study in Science magazine says bats could be one of the most economically valuable groups of wildlife to our farmers--since they eat moths and beetles that cause millions in dollars in damages to crops.
