Delaware motorists are getting pinched when fueling up this Labor Day weekend.

The price of crude is up over concerns about tensions in the Middle East.

As a result the cost a gallon of unleaded regular rose 3 cents to $3.54 a gallon at week's end according to Triple A Mid Atlantic.

Spokesperson Jana Tidwell says the increase is not expected to affect travel plans this holiday weekend.

She adds that price hikes may continue as the seasons change from summer to fall.
