VIDEO: Highlights of the William Penn vs. Glasgow football gameWilliam Penn's four rushing touchdowns would be enough to carry them past Glasgow 26-14 Friday night.
The Dragons scored first when Michael Helton hit Antoine Rayfield Cantey across the middle to put his team ahead 8-0 after the two-point conversion. William Penn answered back when on the ensuing drive Reggie Carroll took the handoff and bullied his way in for the score, the two point try was no good making the score 8-6 in favor of Glasgow.
Helton extended the Dragons lead 14-6 when he delivered a long pass right on target to Cantey on the last play of the first quarter that set up his short quarterback keeper for a touchdown early in the second. Then the Colonials run game caught fire running in three more touchdowns with two coming in the late portion of the second period and one coming in the third. The Colonial defense would not allow any more points as they went on to win 26-14.
