Delivery man robbed at gunpoint in Wilmington

A delivery man was robbed at gunpoint Thursday night in Wilmington's East Side.

It happened around 6:30 p.m. on the 800 block of Kirkwood Street.

Police say a 33-year-old delivery man from Newark had just dropped off an order when he was approached by two men, one of whom was armed with a handgun.

The gunman demanded money from the victim while the other suspect punched the man and took his wallet and an undisclosed amount of cash.

Both robbers then fled from the scene.

The gunman is described as black, 18 to 25 years old, 6 feet tall, weighing 200 pounds with a thin build.

The second suspect is described as being 18 to 25 years old.
