Graphic courtesy of AccuWeather"A pretty healthy storm." That's how a snow storm shaping up for tomorrow is being described.
AccuWeather's Dr. Joe Sobel says your morning commute to work won't be bad, but the snow will intensify during the mid-day hours and continue into the evening.
"Looks like a pretty health storm, with the snow coming down and the temperature dropping. So this is not going to be one of those 'Is it going to snow or rain?' (types of storms), despite the mildness of this afternoon. It's going to be snow," Sobel says.
We should see 3 to 6 inches in the Wilmington-area, but Downstate Delaware could get a lot more.
"If a spots going to get a few extra inches, maybe 8 or even 10, Southern Delaware to the Jersey shore seem to be the most likely areas for that, with lesser amounts this time the farther north and west you go," Sobel says.
A winter storm watch is in effect for most of the day Tuesday.
