A three game road trip in California highlights the Delaware men's basketball non-conference schedule released Friday.

Delaware is slated for a rematch with 2014 NCAA Tournament participant Cal Poly, who the Blue Hens beat in Newark last season on November 21. Two days later, Delaware travels to Cal State Bakersfield before a Nov. 25 showdown with Stanford. Stanford's Athletic Director is Dr. Bernard Muir, who led UD from 2009 to 2012. The Cardinal advanced to last season's Sweet 16, and will be the first ever meeting between the two schools.

Once they return from the Golden State, Delaware has a tough assignment on November 30 at Villanova, before finally playing their home opener on December 3 against Army.

Delaware is also slated to host DelState, Temple, and St. Bonaventure, with road games against Liberty, Fairleigh Dickinson, and Robert Morris also on the non-conference agenda.

The women's basketball schedule doesn't look any easier, with Delaware facing six teams that played in last year's postseason, including three conference champions.

Tina Martin's squad is scheduled for two in-season tournaments, a post-Thanksgiving weekend in Vermont for a tournament featuring MEAC power Hampton November 28-29, and a tournament at Cincinnati on Dec. 19-20.

Delaware will host MAAC champion Marist for the home opener on November 16, and will also host Princeton while travelling to Temple in other noteworthy games.

Both teams' CAA schedules will be released in the fall.
